Cannot Install Outlook

Have tried to install Office 97, Professional Edition. All
programs are OK except for Outlook. Have tried Custom
Installation installing all files. This problem occurred
after installing Verizon DSL software which includes
Outlook Express 6. Outlook worked OK prior. Have also
tried reinstalling Windows 98SE and all settings in
msconfig. ActiveSync also seems to be involved as it
doesn't seem to want to establish a partnership with my
Ipaq unit. Outlook will work, however, if I use a shortcut
to the CD. Any ideas? Thanks!

But sytem cannot find windows server although connected
