Cannot install trial version

When I rtry and install the one note exe file from Microsoft for a trial of
One note I get an error message: Cannot find needed resource" in a text box
with unreadable caharcters in the title block...any ideas? Pat

What operating system are you using? Did you download the trial or get it
from a CD?

Running XP Pro SP2...downloaded trial...suspected trial download but
re-downloaded with no success. Pat

Did you clear your cache in IE before attempting the download?

Turned out the problem was Norton AV 2005 running in background...must have
corrupted the onenote.exe download...Turned it off and everything installed
just fine...sorry for the trouble..
