I
IntraRELY
I am recieving the following error when I "Integrate with Business Contact
Manager for Outlook" from Office Accounting 2007.
Not sure what the problem is. It nearly completes the wizard and fails at
the last step with the following:
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When
connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that
under the default setting SQL Server does not allow remote
connections.(provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a
connection to SQL Server)
I have the BCM database on our SQL Server.
Database Name: OBCM_CTRLIT
Computer Name: CTRL-SQL
Office Accounting 2007 is installed on the same server (sbc).
database=ctrlitinc
server=CTRL-SQL\,5356
I am thinking maybe there is an issue with the instance as the default was
not used.
Each database can be access independantly form each other on multiple
workstations. However, I cannot INTEGRATE them.
TIA,
Steve
