Cannot launch web page from outlook 2000

I have IE 7 and Outlook 2000. I was able to launch any web page from the
preview pane in outlook. I went out of town for a week and when I got back, I
could not launch any web page as I did before. I have run three virus checks
(with different virus software) and root kit checks. These searches have
found nothing. I have looked at every settings in both outlook and ie. I
don't know what to do next. HELP!
