Can I link a table from an Access Project to a mdb file?
My application, besides having its own access tables, needed to access
several other mdb data files, which were data of some other applications we
cannot control. Now, the problem is that one of those "other applications"
now migrate to SQL server and a new access project file, which links to the
SQL database, is created for us.
Let's say that application used mdb file A, is now switched to access
project file B. Can I just change the link in linked table manager from file
A to file B? Or I have to bypass the project file and create an odbc link
directly to the sql server?
Please advise the direction that I should go ahead.
Many thanks.
