When I load MS Word 2002 in Windows XP I get the
following message: Word could not load this add-in
program C:\Program Files\ . . . \startup\popthes.Wll.

What do I do next?

I will repeat my answer to your previous question on this subject:

Follow the cited path and find popthes.wll. Right-click on the file and
choose Properties. With any luck there will be a Version tab that will give
you a clue to what application installed this add-in. You can then search
the app publisher's Web site for an updated add-in that will work with your
version of Word, or, if it's something you don't need, you can remove the
add-in from Word's Startup folder.
