cannot locate normal.docx

Am using windows XP and Office 2007. Want to change the default normal.docx
but cannot locate it nor normal.doc. Followed the help instructions, but the
Templates are not where they are supposed to be. Did a search of the entire
computer (including hidden files) and it did not come up with this file.

Open the Windows Explorer. Type this into the address box and press Enter:

%appdata%\Microsoft\Templates

Note that the file you want has an extension of "dotm" -- not "docx" or "doc".
