Cannot make appt in Outlook 2003

Office 2003 is updated and repaired - "new appointment" does not open - had
been working. Any suggestion other than total reinstall is appreciated.

Did you try re-booting? No. So do it now. Okay. I did it. Now does it work?
Yes. Always remember to try a reboot if there is a problem. Good idea.
