This is a new problem which only started a few days ago. I have a couple of
rules set up to move certain emails to folders as they come in to the inbox.
However, in the past few days they are all coming into the inbox and I cannot
move them to another folder. The error message says:
"Can't copy the items. You don't have permission to create an entry in this
folder. Right-click the folder, and then click Properties to check your
permissions for the folder. See the folder owner or your administrator to
change your permissions."
I'm running Outlook 2003 on Windows XP. I don't use an exchange server so
I've never encountered these permissions before and, as I said, this is a
recent problem and everything was working fine. I haven't downloaded anything
new, apart from some MS updates.
If I do right click on the folder and check Properties > Administration the
'folder available' options are 'greyed' out as I can't tick any options there.
Does anyone know what might have changed? I've tried re-booting but to no
avail.
Thanks for your time.
