Cannot open a project

I have a project on MS Project 2003 (and Project Server 2003) that will not
open. It generates the message 'Microsoft Project has encountered a problem
and needs to close.' I have tried the insert solution offered on the mvp
FAQ's but still get the message. Has anyone run across this before? Any
ideas on how to retrieve the file?

Bad news. I suspect this project is seriously corrupted, so badly corrupted
in fact that you can no longer open it. In this case, your Project Server
administrator will need to restore the project from one of the backups of
the SQL Server databases. Ask him/her to refer to the following FAQ:
