When a user clicks a command button on a form to preview a report, then
clicks File, Print, they get a "Cannot open any more tables" message.
Clicking Help provides the following guidance:
Cannot open any more tables. (Error 3014)
You have reached the limit on the number of tables that can be opened at one
time. Close one or more tables, and then try the operation again."
Printing without previewing won't cause the same error, but we'd like to
preview many of our reports before printing. This all started after we began
using replication on our backend mdb. What's the open table limit, and is
there a way around this problem? Only a few of our reports are complex
enough to cause the error, but of course they are the most often needed.
Thanks,
David
