Cannot Open attachments in my incoming e=mail

Ditto for problem with opening attachments as Rick and
Fran have. I, too, trust the senders and know enough not
to open an e-mail with attachment from a stranger. I also
have an antivirus program. I have to add that I started
having this problem after installing the latest upgrade.
How can I delete the option so I can open my attachments.
Please respond.

Your post has become disconnected from the thread to which you were
replying, so my response may or may not be what you want.

That having been said, Microsoft is "cursed if it does, cursed if it
doesn't" in its efforts regarding increasing internet and email security.
If your problem is that you cannot download and save attachments with common
file types such as MDB and the like, you can edit your registry to remove
selected file types from Outlook's Level 1 security list. Here is a link:
