Cannot Open databases do not see database objects

Access 2007, I can not open any databases, all I see is the "Getting Started
with MS office Access" screeen to create new Databases. Opening any
databases all I see is this splash screen. I can create a new DB, then see
the Database view, once I close the new database and open it again I can no
longer see the database objects. I have tried different user profiles,
uninstalling Office 2007 and reinstalling it and can not get passed this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, up until a few weeks ago all was fine
on this machine.
