Cannot open digitally signed files...

When users on my network receive digitally signed e-mails they cannot be
opened in Outlook 2003. We have tried registering certificates with Secure
Cards and this has worked with previous versions of Outlook, but this does
not work with 2003.

The error received is:

"Can't open this item. A required action was not successful due to an
unspecified error."

This error occurs regardless of what version of OL is used to send the
message, as long as the item is digitally signed.

We have compared the settings with Outlook 2002 (XP) and matched them, but
still receive the error. Anyone one have any suggestions?
