cannot open enterprise global template

I started receiving this error message today. I have confirmed that I still
have admin rights through PWA and this includes reading and saving the global
template. Could it be that someone else has it checked out? If so, how can
you tell and is there an over-ride for getting it checked back in?

Thanks in advance!

Log into PWA with administrator permissions and then click Admin - Manage
enterprise features. Do you see the Enterprise Global file in the data
grid? If so, select it and click the Check-In button. Let us know if this
solves the problem.

Sorry, I should have included that in my original post. It does not appear
under Projects or Resources.

Does the message say that the Enterprise Global file is currently checked
out, or does it say you cannot open it? Does it state any kind of error?
Let us know.

It states: "Cannot open the enterprise global template. You do not have
permission to edit the enterprise global template."

I have not received this message before and no modifications have been made
to my client login (uses windows authentication), the AD groups, or PWA
security.

Thanks!

Are you a member of any groups other than the Administrators group in PWA?
If yes, is the "Save Enterprise Global" permission set to Deny for any of
the other Groups to which you belong? Let us know.

DocO

Good morning! I am a member of all groups, but none of the other groups are
set to "Deny". They are either "Allow" or blank for both.

Thanks!

Why don't you remove yourself from all of the other groups except for the
Administrators group and then let us know what happens?

D

DocO

Will do...... OK, removed myself from all other groups. Logged out of PWA and
launched Professional, but still getting same error.

I'm drawing a blank on why you are having this problem. Would you mind
reposting your message and then we can let some others take a stab at it?

Sure! Thanks for your help!
