Cannot Open Excel 2007 in Vista

I am using Windows Vista and Excel 2007. I started having occasional
problems opening Excel. It would just give me a blue, blank screen with no
way to close it except to go to Task Manager. The problem became more
frequent and now it is a 100% problem...The same Excel programs open fine on
my laptop which also is using Vista and Excel 2007. Can anyone give me a
clue as to what's going on?
