cannot open file

I cannot open a newsletter on my 2007 Publisher - from file or from backup
disk, any of the saved files from 4 different editions. The message simply
says "Publisher cannot open the file". Other Publisher documents open, but
not this. Any ideas?

Did you install the Hotfix? If you installed Service Pack 2, you will need to
install the Hotfix.

I didn't have the service pack, so I installed it; then the hotfix when that
didn't work. Success! Thank you! I did not relish the idea of starting from
scratch.
