Hi,
I have Office Xp 2002 and I have always had problems with
my computer hanging up while using Excel. This was part
of the reason I downloaded SP3 yesterday. However, after
the download and reboot, I cannot open any files anymore.
I get the message "unable to read file" for Excel files
and 'the file 'filename' not available' for Word files.
Moreover, when I try to close thw word documents, I get
some error message about 'word.dot'.
The only way Office works again is if I uninstall Xp and
then resintall from the original CD. I tried installing
SP3 again and have the same problem.
Please let me know how I can install SP3 without having
these problems. Thanks.
