cannot open .mdi file

After I printed document to file in ms office, I can
opened the print file on the my computer but cannot open
this print files on other computer.
What reader application do I need to install on other
computer so that I can open .mdi file. I assume the
reader application is needed just as .pdf need acrobat
reader but I cannot find any .mdi reader application any
where. Can you tell me where can I get it.
If what I assume is not correct, can anyone tell me how
to open .mdi file?

Hi Will,

At present the only MS app that can open the MS Office 2003
MDI files is MS Office 2003 Document Imaging. It can
export them as TIF files.
