Cannot open Outlook 2007 from IE7 Page menu (send page/link by email)

Hi. I'm using XP Pro and Outlook 2007 and IE7. With Outlook applicatio
not open, I cannot open the default email program, Outlook 2007 via th
IE7 shortcut "Page" menu (send page/link by email). When I click on th
Page button, either "send page or link by email", in IE, the IE webpag
freezes. Outlook email does not open. I check my Processes that ar
open, and find outlook.exe is running, but the email does not open up.
have to Ctrl Alt Delete to end both outlook.exe and IE7.
I had recently installed outlook connector for hotmail access. But
then uninstalled it hoping it will solve the problem. If the Outloo
application is open, the "Send Page/Link by email" in IE work. Anyon
know how to get it to work when Outlook remains closed? It was th
default email application. Thanks for any help

I wish I had your answer but unfortunately I don't. I have the same problem
and have been searching for the answer for quite a while. I seem to remember
having some problems with Outlook closing unexpectedly about the same time
this issue started. The Outlook problem seemed to clear after I deleted a
bunch of old messages but the problem with IE send link via email persists.

Hopefully someone else has the solution.
