7 months ago I installed Office 2003 Beta.
When the trail period expired recently I removed Office
2003 and reinstalled Office 2002. Unfortunately I did not
make any backup of my Outlook files. Office 2002 could
read only the file (outlook.pst) that was made before the
Office2003 trial period. The file that was generated
during the trial period (outlook1.pst) could not be
imported into Outlook 2002.
I have now learned that Outlook 203 uses a file format
different from that of Outlook 2002, so I re-installed
Outlook 2003, but I still get an error message when
trying to import outlook1.pst.
(The file C:\Documents and settings\xx\xx\outlook1.pst
is not compatible with this version of the personal
information service. Contact your administrator)
I really hope to recover the mail from the 7 moths'
period, so any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
