cannot open Power Point bullet icon

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

A new surprise from Office 2008:Mac. In Power Point, when working on a presentation, I am not able to open the Bullets(or Numbers) menu in order to choose the style I want.

It seems like the only way to do this is to type Bullets in the Help field and then choose the right choice.

Any ideas here?
