Cannot open projects in PWA (MSPS 2003)

Hi

We have some members who are having problems with PWA.
On project tab, they are able to see all the projects involved, but if they
try to open a project, it freezes and it will not open. As they do not use
MS Project Professional 2003, they use PWA to check their tasks, etc. This
is not all the projects but certain projects; however, memberA cannot open
projectA, while I am able to open projectA without any issues.
What would be the possibilities for the problem?

Thank you in advance.

Sara:

People who do not have a copy of Project Pro, cannot open project files.
There is not mechanism on the web to open project files for editing, however
you can view the contents of the file by using the project detain views.

I think you need to describe what these users are doing "click-by-click"!
Are they clicking on the project name's hot-link in Project Center and
getting stuck? Or are they clicking on "Open..." icon in the actions bar, in
which case they should get an error pop-up if Project Pro is not installed on
their workstation.

If Team Members need to update certain task fields OTHER than time
tracking ones, the PM needs to publish those fields to the task sheets. And,
there are restrictions as to what can be published.

Hope this helps ...
