Cannot open projects/project professional from PWA

(my apologies for the dual post in parent group)

At one point, I was able to open projects using the PWA project center in the
usual fashion. Something has happened that is causing this to fail with the
error:

"Microsoft Office Project Professional 2007 is required for this action.
Ensure that your copy of project professional can connect to this server. If
both of these conditions are true and you still get this message, contact
your system administrator for assistance."

I am able to connect to projects using project pro and opening projects on
the server. Our manager wants to drill down to projects from PWA like before.

Can someone help with this please?

I actually posted the same issue yesterday. I fixed mine by going to start /
control panel/ add or remove programs. I selected Project Pro 2007 and
clicked "change". That brought up a screen with three choices - one of which
was to reinstall or repair. I clicked repair and let it do its thing. I
rebooted my computer and some updates were installed. That did the trick.
