cannot open reocuring appointments

Moved a user from 2000 office xp exchange 2000 TO win xp
office xp exchange 2000 with active sync and a ppc. after
the upgrade and the addition of the ppc my user cannot
open any reocurring appointments from his calendar or
public folders but other users can access these
apointments from other machines with the shared calendar
option.
