cannot open saved calender in Internet Explorer, Outlook 2003

I saved a calender in Outlook 2003 as an .htm (web page)
This htm file does not open on other machines running
Outlook 2000, 2002, or 2003 in our network.The machines
are running Windows 2000 and Xp Professional. I even saved
it to a directory on our FTP server, but the page still
does not display. I would like the user to be able to save
the calender and put it in a network share so other users
can see it. Outlook 2003 is running on an XP Professional
workstation. I would appreciate any help on this matter.
