Cannot open specified file

I am using Powerpoint 2002 and have one screen where I have pasted a map of
the United States. In this map, I have inserted hyperlinks from various
states to the appropriate screen in the presentation. For example, if you
click on Florida, you are taken to the page in the presentation dealing with
Florida.

However, in running the slide show, when I get to the map, I get an error
message that says "Cannot open specified file". This error message opens
each time I move my mouse somewhere on the map.

I cannot figure out why this is happening or what it means.
