Cannot open the file.......

While on FrontPage 2002, on my PC, trying to open a thumb nail picture, by
pointing, ctrl plus clicking, I receive the following error message: CANNOT
OPEN THE FILE. THERE WAS AN ERROR WHEN TRYING TO RUN IMAGE/ (file Name).

I’m using Microsoft FrontPage 2002, with Windows XP, 512 RAM, large hard
drive space available, for years without any problems. Suddenly, for no
apparent reason I get the above error message. I have 75 pictures in my Photo
Album and receive the same error message while trying to open any photo. They
are in the 100kb to 300kb range and .jpg. These images are listed in the
Folder List. When I double click on them, I receive the same error message.

There is no problem enlarging picture on my Web Site from a thumb nail. It’s
only on my computer. When I select “Preview in Browser†and click on any
thumb nail image, they will enlarge. Thanks for any help and suggestions.

In Tools Options Configure Editors (for .jpg and .gif) what image editor do you have set as default

Hi Stefan,
I see nothing in this drop down box that looks like an image editor. Went to
"add tab" and now I do not know what to add. Joe Cav

You add whatever image editing software you have installed by browsing to it
