Cannot open the same database on two XP machines

I have an Access database residing on a Novell Netware
server and I need two users to access it at the same
time. When a second Windows XP machine attempts to log in
to the database, the user is presented with an error
about a table (MSysAccessObjets) being opened exclusively
by another user. However, if one of the machines is
running Windows 2000, both machines can access the
database without errors. Is there some fix for XP that
will allow two XP users to use this database?
