CAnnot open undeleted JPG or JPEG files in MS Photo Editor

I'm currently running MS XP x64.
I have recently undeleted a number of JPG and JPEG images, and i cannot
open them, in either Photo Editor or Pic and Fax Viewer.
I get an error saying "Can't Determine Type." when i open them through
the link, and when i open them through the program itself, i get:"Photo
Editor cannot find or open (filename)" I have tried it with multiple
pics, so it's not the pic itself. I have also noticed that i am not
getting a thumbnail of the pic on the link. Please, i need these
desperately.

There's no guarantee that a file that was "undeleted" will be intact. If you
needed them, you should have made backup of them before hitting that delete
key. Sorry - I know that's not the answer you wanted to hear.

Yah, but is there some way to either A: Determine If the file is intact
or not, or B: Somehow reclaim the file? I need these for my job. If i
don't get these back soon, i may just lose it.

There's no guarantee that a file that was "undeleted" will be intact. If you
needed them, you should have made backup of them before hitting that delete
key. Sorry - I know that's not the answer you wanted to hear.

Have you tried opening it in other programs?

And I reiterate, if the files are that critical, you shouldn't have hit the
delete button.

You can try a file recovery program like PC Inspector...but you may find the
files are wacked...but worth a shot.
