I have a ADP application that is used for reporting from a SQL Server
database. Some users are having problems using the report, they get the
following error, "Cannot open user default database. Using master database
instead.". I have visited MS site for a fix
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q196076), and tried
both recommendations. It didn't fix anything. I have 2 Groups for
permissions, Client ELP Update and Client ELP Report Read. I know that the
Client ELP Update is working correctly, it's just that the Client ELP Report
Read (the permissions to the actual ADP file) aren't working correctly. The
permissions to the ADP file are, Read & Execute and Read. Any ideas what
the problem could be?
Thanks,
