I cannot open the Visual Basic Editor under Word XP.
When I click Tools, Macro, Visual Basic Editor under Word XP, nothing
happens.
When I click Tools, Macro, Macros and type in a new macro name and click the
Create button, I get this error in a dialog box:
Unexpected error; quitting
Then when I click OK I get this error in a dialog box:
Out of memory
I also can't open Visual Basic from any other Office XP product, including
PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
Uninstalling and reinstalling Office XP does not solve the problem. I know
this feature was working fine a few weeks ago, so I assume I installed
something that broke it. I just have no idea how to fix it. The Help,
Detect and Repair... feature doesn't seem to do the trick.
Any ideas?
