Cannot Open Word 97 docs.

I have Windows Vista with Word 2007 and I can't open files e-mailed to me
from Office Word 97 - 2003 files (.doc). When I select for the file to
download, the dialog screen comes up that the file is downloading, but the
Estimated Time Left, Download To and Transfer Rate are blank. I have searched
the website and checked for available downloads for my issue, but I have only
seen people having the opposite issues I am having. Am I the only one with
this problem or is there something wrong with my software???? Help!!!

Sorry! you have strayed into support group for Macintosh Products. If
you used html mail service system through MS website. evidently they
don't know how to group the groups.

If it's "fixed", don't "break it"!
