CANNOT OPEN YOUR DEFAULT FOLDERS MESSAGE

W

WLMARONEY

Just installed Outlook 2002 onto a new Sony Vaio (through
installation of one-year old Office XP for students and
teachers)which is running latest version of XP. Deleted
the 90 day trial version of Office 2003 that came with
computer.

Now, when I open Outlook, I get a message that
says "cannot open your default folders. Would you like to
open default file folders instead?" When I click through
that screen, I get a runtime error message that "Runtime
has requested that this program close in an unusual way.
Application will be terminated." And it is.

I've tried setting up a POP connection (appears
successful) and have run the repaid ffice utility twice
to no effect.

Any thoughts?
