cannot play mpg movie in ppoint 2003

I have XP Pro. I do not have the option of installing multimedia tools to make the movie
work .

My daughter has XP home and the movies play in the presentation. The presentation was
authored on the this same computer.

We are down to the final hours of packaging this presentation and I have to make sure it
can play on any computer with XP Pro.

The above site tells me to export the files from
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\MCI32

I am assuming I export all of them as the instructions are not clear.

If some kind and wonderful person can help me out, even with a different tutorial URL, you
will get me out of this pickle!

I have come to the conclusion that the instructions from this URL are not for XP Pro as
you do not have 'Multimedia' option in add/remove windows components.

Should I be exporting the files from MCI32. I do not want to do this if it is not
necessary.
