Cannot plot to 24" x 36"

I'm trying to plot a monthly calendar view to our plotter (HP DesignJet
1050C) at a 24" x 36" size.

It won't let me select Page Setup from Outlook print window. When I select
properties for the plotter and change the paper sizes Outlook replies with,
"Some of the settings you changed may not work in Outlook. To control print
settings in Outlook, use the Page Setup dialog box." After selecting OK the
paper size is returned to 8.5 x 11.

Any words of wisdom?
