Cannot Print Anything Except E-Mail Messages

Greetings-

I'm running Entourage with SP2 and cannot print anything except e-mail
messages. Printing does not seem to work for contacts, calendars (including
daily, work weekly, weekly, and monthly views), notes, or tasks.

I'm running Entourage on OS X 10.4.2, with all current security updates.

I've seen other messages in the newsgroup that printing certain calendar
views causes Entourage to crash. This doesn't seem to be my problem.
Instead, it seems that Entourage is failing while it tries to generate print
information. For example, in the print dialog, with "Show Quick Preview"
selected, I can see that Entourage is "working" (with the animated circular
thingy). But once this stops, no thumbnail appears. Attempt to "preview"
the selected view does nothing. I would love to send a crash report or some
such thing to Microsoft, but Entourage seems to be stable after my printing
attempts.

I print to an HP OfficeJet 7140xi with the latest driver updates (version
7.3, which was released just under a week ago).

If anyone out there has had a similar experience, could you please reply to
the newsgroup!

Many thanks,
Chris

A problem with SP2 has caused crashes when printing weekly calendars under
certain circumstances, but daily & monthly calendars are not affected.

If you can't print contacts, clear the contents of the folder 'printing
forms' in the MUD folder (~/Documents/Microsoft user data).

Otherwise, use Font Book app to check for font corruption & duplication.

Thanks very much for the suggestions. I couldn't understand why my printing
situation seemed different than those described elsewhere in the newsgroup.
I'll give these idea a try.

Just out of curiosity, what is normally supposed to be in the "printing
forms" folder?

FYI - Deletion of the contents of the folder "Printing Forms" worked!
Thanks!

For those who may be wondering, Entourage automatically re-creates the
printing forms for this folder when starting up.
