Cannot print Excel charts in Word 2008 document

I have developed a document in Word 2008 that has several charts that were done in Excel 2008. At first, I had no problem printing drafts. Now, I see the graphs in the Word format but can't see them in preview or thumbnail, and they don't print. The space of the charts is left blank. I have been able to print if I save my document either in pdf or in the compatibility mode of Word. Any suggestions?

Stay in Compatibility Mode and wait.

That's a bug, and there is a Service Release due out in a few weeks that
will hopefully resolve it.

It didn't. It's a known bug.

We're hoping that the NEXT service release will fix it.

Hi I was wondering if the service release will also fix a bug where the
embedded excel table prints as soft (out of focus)?

The fix at the moment is to reopen each table and then print again.

There is also the problem of images only printing, if you print the entire
document. :frown:
