Cannot print preview or print charts in Word 2003

I can insert charts, text boxes, arrows etc into my document, but when I go
to print preview, there is nothing. It also prints blank. I've tried the file
on another computer and it works fine. I ran the 'detect and repair' feature,
inserting the original disk. The same problem persists. Any ideas?

In Word, click on Tools | Options | View tab | check the "Drawings" box
and uncheck the "Picture placeholders" box | Print tab | check the
"Drawing objects" box | OK.
