Cannot print to networked laser printer

K

To Whom it may concern,

We (students and teachers) are having a problem with
printing documents from Publisher 2002 to our networked
HP LaserJet 4100 PCL 6 printer. When we send a document
to the printer we get a paper source error in the queue.

We have looked at the page and printer set up to make
sure that a wrong tray or paper size has not been
selected. So far, everything has looked correct. We have
also contacted HP to see if there was something wrong
with the printer. No success, they tell us it is
something that is wrong with Publisher.

We are not having any problems with any of the Office XP
programs, just Publisher.

Sincerely,

Look if you buy garbage/trash printers you must expect problems and no
service.
Of course HP would say that.
HP have your money, you have a big lemon.
Why do you think HP would be the least bit interested in you now after the
sale.

There are *NO* known printing issues with any version of Publisher.

Your problem will either be an issue with HP garbage/trash printer drivers
that they fail to update and fix, or it is a network configuration problem.
Check to see if HP by some remote chance have an updated printer driver for
their sub-standard printers they dump into the market place.

We are using Windows 2000 and we have updated the driver
sadly, this did not fix the problem.
