Cannot print xlt workbook converted to xltx format

Hello there. I have some complicated Excel 2003 templates that I've been
using for quite some time. I converted them to Excel 2007 templates without
macros.

For some strange reason I cannot print documents generated / based on these
converted templates. I have to go through the time consuming step of
converting each sheet into a PDF for me to print it. Why is this so?

Any help on this matter will be much appreciated.
