I cannot print most times from any MS Office Pro 2003 (Word, Publisher,
FrontPage, Excel, Access, Picture Manager, Outlook...) to either a HP
Printer or Adobe PDF Printer, or MS Document Imaging. This has happened only
from a few days ago after Microsoft Update downloaded and installed MS
Office Service Pack 2 and then a couple of other updates - unfortunately I
cannot remember them except that one was about Outlook 2003 Junk Mail
Filter.
Sometimes documents print with no problems, other times it prints only half
with an error message "...a system error occurred...please try reprinting
after restarting computer..." (not the exact words). Other times nothing
happens when the print button is pressed. However, whenever I print a test
page - that task completes perfectly - on the inkjet printer, PDF printer
and in MS Document Imaging.
The problem is on a standalone PC running Windows XP Media Center Edition.
I would certainly appreciate any suggestions. Thanks very much in advance.
