You don't have Microsoft Word XML Document listed? Do you have Word
installed?

I could be wrong, but perhaps you need to have Word installed to see it.
Unfortunately I don't have any OneNote 2007 installs that don't also have
Word installed.

As I said below...on mine it's not listed as ".DOCX" but rather as
"Microsoft Office Word XML Document". What about under "Publish As..." do
you have it there?

First, thanks again for your response. I really appreciate that.

These are all the options I have: OneNote Sections, OneNote Single File
Package, Single File Web Page, PDF, and XPS Document. The same list appears
in both "publish as" and "save as" menus.

I think Word is not a requirement since the document
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/onenote/HA100325871033.aspx
which I pointed out before does not mention about it (while the requirement
for Word is explicitly noted in some other features). Perhaps anyone who has
OneNote without Word (or one of OneNote developers/testers) can help confirm
this, but I guess not many people have OneNote without Word on the same
machine like me.

You need to have Word installed in order to save in the Word format. The
code to write out the format lives in Word, not in OneNote, so without
Word, OneNote doesn't know how to do anything with the Word format.

I have related problem. Had to reinstall op system and all programs. Have
complete Office installed -2003- and OneNote. Now no SEND TO options nor any
SAVE AS options other than onenote section and single web page. Have tried to
reinstall onenote. No success. All commands showing. Have tried detect and
repair with no luck. Tried detect and repair in Word. No luck. OneNote worked
before. (By the way, installed a complete OneNote after I cleaned the
register using Mcafee. Tried with Word open and closed. No luck.) Your help
appreciated.
