Cannot Quit Entourage

I use Entourage 11.2.3 and OS X 10.4.6. Recently the only way I can
quit Enourage is to "Force Quit". I've tried to rebuild the data base
but that did not solve the problem. Has anyone else experienced this?
Any suggestions for a fix would be appreciated.
