Cannot reactivate PowerPoint 2002

We have had PowerPoint installed for a number of years, and use it only
occasionally, without problems. It has only been on this computer. Recently
when I started it, it required that I re-activate it because it sensed some
change in the computer. We did add a new hard drive which was cloned from
the old C: drive. Then the old HD was made the secondary hard drive. When I
try to activate it after inserting the CD, it cannot find a file
511974.MAINSP3ff.msp. Consequently, I cannot complete the activation.

What can I do?

You shouldn't have to insert the CD to activate. What are the steps you're
taking and the exact error message you're encountering?

Also, which version of Office is on the system and which version of Windows?

To be completely honest, you might be better off just reinstalling Office on
the cloned drive.
