"Cannot read one instance of this recurring apppointment. Close any open
appointments and try again, or recreate the appointment."


Hi guys,

As mentioned above, I'm getting this error/message box when I try to get
an AppointmentItemPtr using the GetAppointmentItem function from an
ExceptionPtr of a recurring reminder. The recurring reminder has no end
date.


I'm running Outlook 2003 in "Online mode" with Exchange Server 2003.
Once the initial call happened, from there on, every time I open an
occurrence in an inspector window, I always get that error even though
my Add-in doesn't do anything.


I tried also a work-around to get that AppointmentItemPtr using the
GetOccurrence function of the RecurrencePatternPtr to see if it will not
fire that error/message box but have no luck.


In addition, this error/message box doesn't occur when my add-in is not
loaded.

Any ideas what is going on here? Thanks.
