Cannot Recieve Receive emails STAT command does not Match UDIL or

I cannot receive emails. I get an error (0x80042110) POP3 Server is providing
inconsistent information. The number of messages retruned by the STAT
command does not match the number of items returned by the UIDL or LIST
commands. Contact your POP provider. EER Maildrop unavailable. I have
contacted my ISP and they cannot figure out the problem. Can anyoe help?
