Cannot reinstall or deinstall microsoft office pro with frontpage

I recently bought a new hard drive for my pc. After I
copied all the content from my old drive to the new one,
I made it the master drive. Whenever I run MS Office
applications I get a window that says there was an error
running word 10.0 and that I need to run setup and select
repair to restore the application. However, when I try to
uninstall or reinstall the program, it says that it is
trying to using a network resource that is unavailible.
It them asks to find the installation
package "proplus.msi" which I cannot find on my system,
but when I select the one on the cd, it says it is not
valid. Any help is appreciated and I thank you in advance.
