We are running MS Exchange Server 2003, I have an executive user on WIN XP
running Office 2003. He recently aquired a new Executive Assistant and asked
for his old assisitants delegate access to be removed from his Oulook. I
removed the assistant as a delegate; however, she is still here at the
company so the account was not deleted. Once I removed her through
Tools/Options/Delegates and clicked apply and OK, I went back in to make sure
access was removed and it would populate her name in the delegates field
again and again. No matter how many times I remove her she pops right back up
once I go back into the delegates field. I have shut down and re started the
Exchange Server, no luck. In addition, The delegate can no longer see the
executives inbox, calendar itmes etc., but her name will not remove as a
delegate.
I also checked the email account under "view or change existing e-mail
accounts/change/more settings/advanced" there are no delegates listed there
to remove.
This executive has another delegate listed under his Outlook/tools/options
that he wants to keep. I removed this delegate just as a test and when I go
back in it is still gone. It is only the one user that I cannot remove.
Any suggestions as to how to remove the delegate?
Thanks much
