Cannot remove "edit marks" from Word documents

Version: v.X Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I copied something from my blog into Word. Now, all my documents have the paragraph mark showing as well a little dot between each word. I take it that this is some sort of internet formatting, but it is now in all of my documents. I've tried everything I could think of on the toolbar, but nothing works. Help! These marks are driving me crazy! Thanks!

Again, I don't want to see the marks. They are very distracting to me. They did not appear in Word before I copied something from my blog into Word. Please tell me how to remove them.
